We have decided to rent out Kobe’s wheelchair to anyone who may find themselves in a similar position to Kobe and myself.
Sadly, on August 1st 2025 I had to say the most heartbreaking goodbye to my beautiful best friend Kobe.
Many of those who have followed our journey over the years are aware of how much we went through together. At the age of 3, after many many different vet appointments where we were sadly not listened too. Kobe suffered a swell to the brain causing him to lose his mobility and coordination. After head hunting a certain vet and managing to travel to be seen by a team she had trained, we were able to develop a plan for Kobe and his road to recovery.
Kobe required a specific type of medication to keep his allergens and inflammation at bay. Something we were sadly never offered at all of the previous vets we’d visited previously. He also required hydrotherapy and sadly a wheelchair to help aid his recovery.
